Every new project will have an individual Web design agreement. This agreement clearly defines what is expected of PinkInk Web Design and the client. It also ensures both parties are fully aware of any fees and /or extras that may be incurred.
Below is an example of the style of agreement you will receive when you come into the Team PinkInk family.
PinkInk Web Design Agreement
This Website Design Agreement is made effective as of (Insert Date Here), by and between (Insert Name Here) (the “Owner“), of (Insert Business Name Here), and Tiffany Dunn (the “Designer“), of PinkInk Web Design.
To custom design a fresh, professional looking website that reflects the companies style. To incorporate the company logo and colour scheme throughout the design. To be able to update key elements of the website i.e. news and front page, regularly and easily. To showcase (Insert Business Name Here) features and facilities.
Description of services
Implementation of agreed custom design. Installation and configuration of CMS (content management system). Redirection of current pages to new design pages to aid with SEO. Include Metatags for increased SEO purposes. Implementation of a contact form that allows all comments to be directed to your email address. Include membership details and either a secure sign up page (requires SSL) or PDF download for potential members to print. Implementation of a location map. Implementation of a simple blog to be used for interaction with clients, latest news, events and announcements. Inclusion of newsletter subscription service and social media link (like Facebook and Twitter).
To provide all information necessary to complete the design project within the completion date.
Target Completion Date
6 weeks from (Insert Date Here) with an estimated completion date, (Insert Date Here) This estimation does not include time during which the Designer must wait for the Owner to provide materials or information necessary for the completion of the Services. The Designer agrees to notify the Owner of any anticipated delays in completing the Services. Although every effort is made to complete the design project within the stated date circumstances, unforeseen may alter the competition date.
In consideration for the Services, the Owner will pay the Designer a total cost of (Insert Design Fee Here) Excluding service expenses like domain name, registration fees, hosting fees, SSL certificates, software license fee’s and stock image license fee’s. Twenty percent of the payment is non-refundable and is due at the beginning of the design process, plus any service fee’s needed to proceed. Once first payment is received, the agreement is binding. Final payment is due upon the Designer completing the website and obtaining the owner’s approval that the services have been fulfilled as per the Agreement.
Design Notice and Copyright
The Design shall include the following design notice to be displayed on each page of the Website that can be viewed by a user: “© 2013 | (insert Business Name Here) | All Rights Reserved | Development PinkInk”
The Owner will own all of its proprietary Design and information as included in the services, design concepts, content, graphics, domain names, hosting, characters, stored data, and reports and notes prepared by the Designer.
